Margy Beta Terms
These terms govern your use of the Margy closed beta. They describe an experimental service and should be read with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Closed-beta status
Margy is an experimental closed beta for planning recipes, recording dough sessions, and reviewing results. Access is limited, may be withdrawn, and does not create a paid-service commitment or service-level guarantee.
Your account
Closed-beta access is personal and may be allowlisted. Give accurate account information and protect your sign-in method. You remain responsible for activity performed through your account until you revoke access or notify us of suspected compromise.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Margy, probe or bypass access controls, disrupt the service, upload unlawful material, or use connected tools to access data you do not own. Keep your credentials and one-time agent tokens confidential.
Your content and public links
You keep ownership of recipes, notes, photos, session history, and other content you add. You grant Margy only the permission needed to store, synchronize, process, export, and display that content for the service. Public recipe links expose the selected snapshot to anyone with the link until you revoke it.
Connected Agents and MCP
Connected Agents use Model Context Protocol access grants that you create and can revoke. A connected client may read or change only the allowed synchronized data, but its operator and software remain outside Margy's control. Review scopes, protect tokens, and revoke any client you no longer trust.
Push notifications
Push reminders depend on browser permission, network delivery, device settings, and third-party push infrastructure. They may be late or absent. Do not rely on Margy notifications for safety-critical timing.
Beta availability and changes
The beta may contain defects, lose features, change data formats, or be unavailable. Keep independent copies of data you need. Export is available from account settings, but beta continuity and backward compatibility are not guaranteed.
Food-safety responsibility
Margy offers planning and record-keeping assistance, not professional food-safety, health, or commercial production advice. Check ingredients, allergens, temperatures, fermentation, storage, and local rules yourself before preparing or serving food.
Ending access and deleting your account
You may stop using Margy, export your data, and delete your account. Margy may suspend or end beta access to protect users, enforce these terms, respond to legal requirements, or close the beta. Account deletion is irreversible after the confirmation flow completes.
Warranty and liability limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Margy is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular result, or preservation of beta data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the beta evolves. Margy will publish the revised date and, when a change materially affects your rights or use, provide a reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
